Little Earth School is one of the most innovative independent schools
in New Mexico. We take great pride in educating the whole child.
Providing Little Earth students with the necessary and important academic and social/emotional scaffolding required to become successful students and human beings is front and center in our approach to education. Like many other private independent schools in America, tuition alone does not provide all the requirements needed to successfully educate our children or operate our school. The tuition at Little Earth School covers 76% of our operating budget. The remaining 23% balance rests on the shoulders of those who contribute to our Annual Fund, Endowment Fund and other fundraising events. Our Annual Fund offers members of the Little Earth community the opportunity to support the school through a 100% tax-deductible contribution to Little Earth School. Our Endowment was established in 2006 and is held in perpetuity by Santa Fe Community Foundation which strives to support local non-profits. Little Earth School receives an annual Endowment Fund distribution, which supports the education of current and future students by building a fund that is held in perpetuity which contributes to the long-term sustainability of our school. We rely on the generosity and kindness of our families and friends to build a diverse and inclusive school and help support our student programs in science and outdoor education, art and music, technology, language and global festivals, physical education, and the continuing education efforts for our teachers. The fundraising campaign also provides resources for our financial aid program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office 505-988-1968.
